We have a number of high quality instruments dedicated to His glory and available to worshipers and the community.
Reuter Pipe Organ The heart of our musical worship is the majestic two manual Reuter pipe organ built in 1963 under the consultation of Dr. Edward J. Moyer, Director of Music at WUMC. Steinway Model D Concert Grand Piano We have a nine-foot Steinway concert grand piano built in 1993 in our Sanctuary. This magnificent instrument was a gift of G. Lehmiller in 2006 to our Music Ministry and is used throughout the week and worship. It is the heart of our new Concert Series. Malmark Handbells We have five complete octaves of Malmark handbells plus four additional aluminum bass bells to extend us into the sixth octave. We also have three octaves of Malmark handchimes for additional tonal colors as well as for use by younger ringers. To allow more ringers into our ever expanding bell program at WUMC, we have duplicated the middle two octaves of handbells to allow higher numbers to participate. Many bells are memorial or honorary gifts by the Tackett, Potee, and Clendaniel families, as well as by groups such as Wesley Carillon and Linton Springs.
